The organizers, Vedic scholars, and devotees of Vijayawada conducted an Abhinandana Sabha this evening – 15 Oct. 2016 at Shri Shankara Matam camp Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Labbipet, Vijayawada on the eve of the departure of Shrimatam camp from here .
Shri Maganti Subrahmanyam, President of Sri Venkateswaraswamy temple read out the Swagatam to HH Pujyashri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal and HH Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal. He listed out the various spiritual and cultural events conducted as part of Pujyashri Acharyas’ camp in Vijayawada.
His Holiness Pujyashri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal blessed the audience with Anugraha Bhashanam. The title of Acharya Seva Ratna was given to Shri Maganti Subrahmanyam for his services to the peetham for more than 4 decades. Devotees who had rendered service during the camp at Vijayawada were blessed with shawls and prasadam.
His Holiness Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal blessed the gathering with Anugraha Bhashanam in which He highlighted the various activities and initiatives of HH Pujyashri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal spanning the entire country and beyond.

Visit to Hanuman Temple and Veda Patasala, Kotur Tadepalli

His Holiness Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal visited the Hanuman Temple and the Veda Patashala at Kotur Tadepalli village, about 12 kms from Vijayawada. His Holiness performed pujas to the presiding deity and at the other Sannadhis, and blessed the devotees with Anugraha Bhashanam.

Visit to SITA - State Institute of Temple Administration

HH Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal visited the State Institute of Temple Administration (SITA) located along the Krishna river Ghat in Vijayawada and addressed the valedictory programme of the training camp held for a duration of 10 days. His Holiness blessed the gathering with Anugraha Bhashanam.

Poranki - Temple visits
17 Oct. 2016, Poranki (near Vijayawada)
Shrimatam camp is presently at Poranki, about 12 Kms. from Vijayawada. HH Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal visited the Hanuman temple and Shiva temple in Poranki earlier today (17 Oct. 2016). After the visits, His Holiness performed Trikala Chandramouleeswara Puja.
Shrimatam camp shifts today to Suryapet (TTD Kalyana Mandapam) where Pujyashri Acharyas will perform puja on 18 & 19 Oct. 2016.
