When Shri Vazhathur Ramamurthy went to Kalahasti for darshan of Kanchi Mahaswamigal, He requested him to inform Shri SS Vasan (founder of famous Tamil Magazine Ananda Vikatan) to come and meet Him.
When Shri Vasan was informed about this, He felt elated and blessed and told Ramamurthy to ask Swamigal, "What will be the convenient day/time for him to come and have His darshan?"
On that suitable day, Shri Vasan had His darshan. Swamigal pointed out a Stone Engraving where it was mentioned:
"The person takes good care of his Mother will be blessed with good fortune and a peaceful Life!"
Swamigal then told Vasan, "You have taken exemplary care of you Mother, that is why you are blessed with such a good life!"
Imagine how Shri Vasan must have felt when Swamigal told him thus!

Shri SS Vasan was a journalist, writer, advertiser, film producer, director and business tycoon. He is the founder of the Tamil language magazine Ananda Vikatan and the film production company Gemini Studios, Gemini Film Laboratories and Gemini Picture Circuit. He was a also member of parliament (Rajya Sabha) from 1964.
